Most Realistic Driving Simulator (Noise)

The noise of a car is a big thing for me, and I was so disappointed with the tinny sound of cars in Gran Turismo 5 that I got rid of the console! That and the fact that it took half an hour to do its updates every time I turned the console on.

Gran Turismo 3 cars sounded awesome, but did they lose the rights to record real sounds?

What is the best new driving simulator for noise nowadays?

Forza 4 and 5 have sublime audio. Nick Wiswell is a genius. He and his team have done magic with the audio design. So immersive and visceral.
