I know the youtube clips are like real accidents (you just have to take a look even though you know you shouldn't!), however I have learned:

1. Red lights are merely a suggestion and not mandatory
2. Driving flat out in the snow (or anywhere else) is the only way
3. Pedestrians are suicidal
4. Observation skills are completely optional - especially when traffic is stopped ahead or you are turning left
5. Russian junction layouts are mostly random and a free for all
6. The newer your car the more right you have to drive where the hell you like as fast as you like
7. After an incident, getting out of your car and beating the st out of someone is considered normal

It would be interesting if every car in the UK had to have a camera too.....

Also having a handgun denotes that you have the right of way.

To record people sitting tutting ????

I think the ruskies are a bit more hot-headed than us.

Doubt the UK version would be as exciting. Probably just old Mable reversing her micro into a bollard at Tesco's

I watch those videos and find myself thinking "How the hell have they done that?". Then I remember that Russia supposedly has entire supermarket aisles devoted to Vodka then it all makes sense. hehe

Did you know that up to 2011 in Russia, any beverage under 12% proof was considered non-alcoholic....therefore beer was a soft drink!*

Think of all the room they have in Russia and they still manage to crash into each other. The mind boggles. wobble

Also the official US v Russia accident rate figures may be skewed by the average Russian driver not officially declaring all of their accidents

It seems the object of the game is who can keep their foot buried to the carpet for the longest!

I wonder if they also play that game from the fast and furious movie where the driver stares out the passenger without looking at the road?
