Yeah I often pop over to the the TVRCC site as well, same old nonsense there..... some things never change 
Anyway all the best to the regulars have a great New Year I will look on from across the pond!! Been looking at some local adverts for classics in Ca ... no TVR's but some nice old Yank V8's ummmm! Note to self start a list .... Viper V10, fastback Mustang ... Thought, if you were me in San Francisco and no V8 TVR's what would you go for???

I almost moved to the US a few years ago and tested a few home-grown US cars in advance. Best by far for me was the Viper SRT, the convertible. The engine looks fantastic and makes any TVR sound tame when started. Interior is too plastic though and would have needed some leather. Never had a chance to check out the handling but went well in a straight line at least.

Come on Chris, get a TVR ! There is a nice silver 3000M for sale, and several wedges/tasmin' on the TVRCCNA site. a Viper, FFS ! (come Mark, help required here !!)
