Been looking for some good value trackdays to finish the year off.

For £95 you can have a full day at Donington Park on Sundays in Nov & Dec, see:

www.donington-park.co.uk/trakzone/

Did this once earlier in the year, it is a superb track especially as it was re-surfaced a few months back. It was also run as an open pit lane so 200 miles is easy to reach and that means excellent value at under 50p per track mile, so the VFMI is good (Value For Money Index!)

I am booked on Sunday 21st Nov, any other takers? Some of ther guys I know with useful 944's and 968's like my car are already booked -- see you there then!!

Sounds like good value........

Just a bit weary of doing a track day in December, as there may be a chance of frost at that time of year ??

Or are track surfaces not prone to this ?

I am doing the Nov 21st date, and although frost might be a risk it will usually go quite quickly in this part of the year.

Best thing is to let others go out for a few minutes at the start, you will soon find out whether it is slippy or not!!

Personally a wet track day is the best fun you can have with your trousers on!! But then I do have a 968 with perfect balance so I do not fall off the black stuff!!

I don't think it makes a great deal of difference what the balance is like when the car is stationary; it's what the nut behind the wheel does to affect it when on the move that matters!

agreed

as we say in the 924/944/968 world, "engine in the front, gearbox at the back and a nut in the middle" the combination can be magic!
