Just got my MK1 back from Neil Garner, who replaced the rear suspension bushes, softened the nitrons, raised the steering rack (using shims ) and did the geo (amongst a couple of other bits and bobs).
Even on damp roads and on Federal RSR track tyres, the car is so much nicer to drive.
Bump steer is reduced, the ride is less fidgety and it just feels more manageable.
It's no limo but it's a lot more confidence inspiring to drive than before.
Hope there's some dry weather soon to really appreciate the mods.
Tuscans are immense!!! ( other tvrs are available!)

That's great to hear as mine is with him at the moment waiting for new front brake Calipers and Nitrons all round ,had to have the uprights machined for the new Calipers as well frown .
Is raising the steering rake something I should get them to do as well ? Does it make a noticeable difference ?
Paul.

This one? I've been watching most of the suspension/bump steer ones with interest!
