While the Noble is away at Jetstream I have been working with Neil from the Signteam on some lightweight bits .
New 3 piece window set too save over 1kg of weight high up .
Nice dark tint .

I'm taking off the aircon for this season as you can remove 20kg of weight , normally you have too cut up the std bracket but thanks to Jetstream lending me a std bracket I got some posh billet alloy units made , saved 220 grams .

Finally I have always disliked the alloy infill panels on the rear arches , made some in flat carbon , hopefully they will look better than std and very stiff compared too the alloy .

Hopefully everything will be ready for Autosport .

I can understand all the carbon bits as they look nicer (eye of the beholder and all that), but why on earth are you ditching the air-con? Sure, you save 20kg but your car has more power than you can shake a stick at and you're not racing competitively (or are you??) Although the air-con ain't exactly brilliant, it makes the trips to Spa and the Ring just about bearable during the summer months. In fact this summer it was so hot at the Ring (track temp >50C) that I had to have the air-con running whilst on track!

Isn't that the standard Elise or Exige screen from any windscreen place?

I don't know how anyone could run without a/c myself. A must-have born out by the number of units shipped with this £2K option.

It could be Adrian but I don't know, I was told the factory ordered windscreens for the M600 and the supplier made them in M12 size in error. The factory wouldn't buy them so Jetstream did. Great addition to the race car, no more steamy windows in the wet!

Another vote for not being able to live without the AC, mine is on constantly through summer. Would make a Noble undriveable for any more than 15 minute stints, in my car at least! Have even had to use it on track before, not good getting out the car dripping in sweat!

liking the window set Si, surely your making a few sets smile i deff want a set.

Regarding air con, think a little less turkey at xmas would save a few kilo, then you can keep it fitted;)
