My db9 is working perfectly
Discussion
My V8V has just turned 7 and has been with me for the last 2 years, it has 44k miles and is used every day - still on the original clutch with no sign of wear.
I've had, above annual servicing / consumables:
1 x bearing / hub replaced due to fault on speed sensor pick-up.
1 x belt and pulley replacement (slightly squealy and annoyed me)
We had a petrol Golf mk5 for 3 years that cost over £2k in "bits" to keep on the road + servicing and consumables!

Thank god for TCAS, saved my ass over the north sea on an airtest.
And mine too when a Munich inbound heavy asked AT to identify the 'traffic' in their 10 o/c range less than a mile on a conflicting heading,,,,suddenly the bladdy thing filled my windscreen and I do mean filled it.
I descended immediatley and all was well,,,,well, it was after I'd landed and changed my trousers.
TCAS, so pleased they had one.

So TCAS didn't prevent the midair, the Mk1 eyeball did. Was this in controlled airspace (can't think the heavy wouldn't be)? If so, bit of a mess!

Back to thread, my 09 V8VR is also fault free.

Yer, did,,,the TCAS on board the heavy gave us all the heads up. Now what the ATC were playing at, both aircraft squawking and talking,,,,dunno. These things happen, I know, I was there and thanks to TCAS here to tell the tale. Back to thread, my 09 V8VR is also fault free.

Not sure how we managed without it for all those years. Still looking at the display going into the airspace around London and seeing how many aircraft are out there is quite frightening !!!! I think I preferred it when I didn't know. By the way Notsa your car sounds identical to mine, you clearly have good taste.

Turbo Lance,,,,my own ship,,,a cracking light aircraft that looked after me for over 500 hours. It was a very sad day I watched and listened to her fly away in the hands of her new owner,,,,funny how one can become so attached to a machine,,,or is it.
