Gents
I find the steering has a notchy feel to it when manoeuvring at low speed, especially when cold ie when first backing out of the garage and down the drive onto the road. It Improves as the car warms up but never goes entirely. Is something worn on the steering rack do you think or some sort of problem with the power steering? Or is it one of those things with DB9 and nothing to worry about?

Check the PAS belt for slippage when cold as the rubber goes hard on an older belt and can slip under load until it warms and softens up.

Also check the PAS fluid level. If both of the above are fine, you could try flushing and refilling the system with clean fluid.

I think it's a characteristic of the power steering and nothing to worry about, but if the behaviour/feel has changed from what you're familiar with, check it or get it checked.

Engine at idle or just barely above, wheels turned approaching full lock, steering wheel "judders". Quite common, nothing wrong.

Theres something called (steering Additive) Mine was doing it a while back, its not like it feels that the steering is struggling, more like a minor griping sensation or creaking??????? Does that sound about right??? If do then all that needed is that.....
