That needs a new door really. It won't be put on any register it's a pretty straight forward repair. New door then paint the side of the car.

Dentmaster won't be able to do much with that I don't think.

I don't think Dentmaster would do something so large (May be wrong), but no way would that be a write off. Probably about £600 at a bodyshop I'd think.

ETA May be more if new door required, but I've had similar pulled out and painted.

Assuming that the hinges and door lock mechanism aren't damaged (and the shut gaps around
the door suggest they won't be) then it may be worth trying to source a matching colour replacement door from a dismantler and fitting it yourself.

Hmm, I was hoping dentmaster could do it and a door replacement wasn't needed as it would probably look like it had been replaced paintwise

There are a few doors on eBay between £110-160. I would grab one of those and take it to a bodyshop for painting/fitting

There was a thread on here a while ago where someone had left a Porsche 911 in a car park overnight and when he went to get it the next morning, some scrotes had jumped on the roof - it looked like new roof time: the owner found a dent man who had it looking as good as new with a few hours work. Might be worth having a hunt for the thread, as I'm sure it had the dent guys details...

The biggest problem you'll have isn't the big dent on the main part of the panel, but the small crease right next to the swage line, as this always makes a perfect repair difficult.

Even if the dent man can straighten it out it looks to be quite badly scratched up too so will need paint anyway. Would be bodyshop for me, or try to find a matching door if cheaper.

Yeah I noticed the crease bit.

Might be best claiming, the car wont look right otherwise, get someone good and get it paid for
As long as the car doesn't get cat d

2nd hand door from eBay would be my option. Would probably be the same all in as an insurance excess.

I'd say no, there is some serious creasing which means the metal has been stretched and won't go back to it's original shape. New/ second hand door or go the insurance route.

Most colours have (at least) a couple of alternatives (a slight difference in shade). This is because different batches of the same colour are made to spray the thousands of cars produced in that colour and sometimes the mixes of paint aren't exactly the same - hence alternative shades.
A sprayshop (should) do test cards before spraying to ensure they're using the correct alternative - and even then blending into the adjoining panels may be required.

So even if you manage to source a replacement door of the same colour you won't know 100% that the colour match is perfect until its been fitted - and the chances are high that it won't match perfectly!
So if you get a replacement door you'll have the cost of a replacement door @£??? and then there's a very strong chance that you'll still need it painted and blended at £200- £300

Personally I'd go to a couple of reputable independent bodyshops and see what they say they can do.
They'll know a guy that can do dents, then it may need a small skim of filler here and there and then it'll need painting and blending
I'd imagine a total cost £275-£375 for an invisible repair.

(People may say the prices I've suggested are high - but I believe you get what you pay for wink)
