just about to dive back into Chimaera ownership after a 8 year absence and asking TVRInspections in London to check out a car for me. I've not used them before but they sound helpful and well versed in the quirks that are common with Chimaeras, so have instilled confidence in me that their fees will be money well spent....has anyone any experience of working with them that might be able to offer some confirmation that my confidence is well placed ......or an alternative perspective that would be good to know about?

I've never seen that link before. It looks quite generic?

I do believe that Rob Ingleby has a good reputation on this forum, although I haven't used him myself (I purchased from a known dealer). His web is: http://www.findasportscar.co.uk

I used Rob to inspect my first Chimaera - he did a great job and would definitely recommend him!

This is a guy called Steve who has a lot of TVR experience. Based in North Yorkshire but travels all over.

Another one for Rob, he inspected two chimaera for me and was very good, and worked to a tight dealdline, made all the arrangements for the viewings himself, and produced good accurate reports.

I know Steve Wallinger and he is indeed a very knowledgeable TVR engineer. One of his reports that he did for the previous owner of my car came with all the paperwork and it was very comprehensive.

thanks for the comments....I hadn't considered Intermotion. I did call Rob Ingleby and left a message but didn't hear anything back from him. I'll let you know how I get on with TVRInspections.

I called Rob and spoke to him a month or so ago and he told me that he was no longer doing the inspections on a regular basis.

Quite a number of the TVR specialists will do inspections. You would have to chat with them though to see their T&Cs
