Tesco JetWash cycles/cost?
Discussion
I don’t want to do a full wash. Just clean out all the mud from under the arches and lower panels.
1/ Blast all the those areas with plain water
2/ Spray on my own citrus pre-wash to those areas with a hand pump
3/ Wait 5-10 minutes for it to soak
4/ Rinse by blasting all the those areas again with plain water
That’s it. Is there a cycle to fit that, and how much?

At tesco it's £1 for two and a half minutes or three minutes.
I normally spray on the citrus per wash from a hand sprayer and leave it to soak without rinsing the vehicle off first. I only ever use the high pressure rinse option. Tried the wheel cleaner/bug spray once before and it took off all the wax/sealant I had put on.

Would you not be more disappointed if the bug/wheel cleaner didn't remove anything from the paint? You're right about the £1 for a few min.. What I tend to do is use the pressure washer on just water to do the underside of the car, the wheel arches and give the car a quick rinse. Then go home (1/4mile up road) and continue to wash the car by hand.
Oh and the other thing, I will NEVER use the brush attachment for anything other than scrubbing under the sills, I cringe whenever I see people using the brush on the roof/bonnet/doors etc.

Are there any of these self serve places in London?
I have been to a few only at petrol stations, where you cannot choose just pressure washer but have to go through the full program.
Which is annoying as I also like to wash by hand, and only use the jet wash for rinsing...

Over the Rainbow next door to the Ace - a quick trip down the A40
£15, two bucket wash and interior valet - I wouldn't take either of my cars anywhere else if I don't have time to do it myself.
Get there 9.00 am on a Sat and you can have breakfast whilst they do it
