I went to pick up my new speaker today in the Noble and after much measuring, talking about ohms, I ended up with a very nice small if not slight expensive amp.
The plan is to fit it at the end of the passenger foot-well behind the kick panel next to the relays, it looks like it will fit really well. I was told someone else has done this on a Noble (maybe from Essex blue car??)
Is it anyone on here?
I'd like to see what brackets you made up and how you routed your wires.
Can you run a feed off the battery though the tunnel if so how do you get access and how do you get to the battery?

Daddysumo I think you might be the chap I was being told about.
I went for the JL amp as I want to be able to bridge it, it should fit behind the carpet panel without any spacing
Would you be so kind as to email me a few photos of yours.

Also how did you run your power from the battery?
I'm thinking down the tunnel? I've not had the car long, but it looks like access to the tunnel is a bit of a bugger so any help you can offer would be great.
The new speakers I've fitted are soooo much better than the stock ones but they need a bit more power than the 50W the head unit kicks out, I've also got a slim sub I'm going to fit behind the pax seat which will be removable.
I know it's adding weight, but I don't view my car as an all and out racer.

Surely the easiest way to get the power cables to that position is down the sill.
That's what I would have thought, is the sill open at the front?I went to my local ice installers and they have a JL sub (6" I think) in a specially designed box that fits behind the seat and sounds absolutely amazing, I'll be fitting one of these in the spring as you can simply unplug it and lift it out if you need the luggage space.

why? its a bit like saying its the wrong car for a decent interior!
Im fitting an amp in mine next year, I have a genesis one going in with a little sub somewhere.
True i suppose!. You are limited with what you can do with the Noble anyway without limiting legroom or storage room. To me a decent set of speakers and a good headunit is all that's needed. Maybe a small 2 channel amp if you must.Im fitting an amp in mine next year, I have a genesis one going in with a little sub somewhere.
i suppose it depends what you use the car for..
Heres a few pics of the way i have done mine, components and small tweeters in the doors, and amp laying on floor behind passenger seat, then a removable sub above, i use the orig head unit as it has a sep sub input, Alpine amp , it sounds incredible and so very clear no distortion even at high volumes.

Like to say its all my work lol but being rubbish at these things, Skip at Bespoke done all the very fine work,
The wires run through door sills so very neat and tidy, if i need the lug space then i can remove the sub.

I spent the day yesterday making a box for the sub only to discover that the design I was using would only fit if you removed the seats, which I don't want to do.
So I had to re design it I'm going to see if I can return the 10" sub today for a smaller 8" one as it now won't fit.
I still can't see how you get access to the door sills.
Anyone?
