Odd mark on son's neck

My 4yo has had an odd mark on his neck for a while now. He is due to be looked at by a doctor but I wandered if anyone knows what it is?
He says it hurts if you touch it but to me it just looks like a spot!

What do you reckon?

Going by the picture I would hazard a guess at a Cyst of some description.

Looks like a cyst. Nothing to worry about but obviously go to the GP just in case

That's what the doctor has said.
Just said leave it and see what it's like in a couple of months.

Son sometimes says it hurts but only when he knocks it.

Usually stay there indefinitely, again nothing to worry about. May weep from time to time
