4 Wheel Bond Bug

I saw a feature recently about the original Bond Bug, and it reminded me that someone bought the original moulds and created a 4 wheel version (using mini front subframe/suspension?) Anyone know what became of this? I think a couple were made. I should think this would be a real fun project, and still have some life in it as a saleable kitcar.
