Upmarket snacks...

What posh snacks do you like?
One thing I love about Christmas is that the price of stuff like gravadlax tends to come down a bit. I have a few packs in the fridge along with the gravadlax sauce (mustard & dill). Cost is £4.80 for 200g, and £1.99 for a tub of the sauce. Still not cheap as snacks go, but oh so delicious!

Forman's smoked salmon on brown toast, buttered and cut into squares. It has to be Forman's - nothing else will do.
It was compared (Forman's) with others earlier this year, and wiped the floor with the opposition.A genuine case of getting what you pay for it seems.

Gravadlax for me as well, I'm off to buy a few kilos of salmon this weekend to make a load of it. The sauce is extremely easy to make as well. Served with rye bread, that will happily be my lunch for a few days over Christmas.
Then you have bought too much...Dr G said:
Baklava - although virtually impossible to buy good stuff in the UK.
You must be joking, I'm surrounded by baklava where I live. Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
