Need a shed

[AndyT77]

My better half and I share a car as we worked on the same shift, but she is moving jobs soon and so we need a sub £1000 car for her.

Must be no smaller than Focus/Golf size, petrol (my stipulation), a hatchback with 5 doors and reasonable running costs.

There are the obvious Focus, Golf, Leon, Megane, 307 etc. Welcome to any suggestions.

Rover 45 ot Mg ZS ?

Anything with tax and test that's the right size, surely? Buying on condition and MOT length over anything else.

I always think 1990s and Japanese.

So we just got this, 02 1.6 Zetec, full history and belts, 6m MOT, new tyres, heated leather seats!

£800, rather pleased with it.

Yes good cars drive well very responsive steering, have one as a daily

You slipped the 5 door requirement then.

Just helped my mum get a 2001 rover 45 with 45k, full service history, newly serviced and immaculate with heated leather seats ect.

Not a car I would like for myself, but for a non enthusiast its perfect.

There are quite a few like that.

Yeah, after viewing a few nails this one was too good to pass up. I won't be getting in the back anyway so I'm not fussed!
