Dear All,
Just taking this opportunity, before the festive imbibing reduces my comments to savage, old-man’s, bitter “Pah !”s, to thank all of those of you who overwhelmed me with humour and help in this, the worst year of my life.
As the French say-
“I ‘ope you ‘ave ‘appiness all your lives”

Don't get too relaxed within five miles of home
Hope that 'er in doors has bought me the special "Maria Sharapova to wax your car" Christmas present that I have asked Big G for....
