I know it will need handbrake, lights, indicators ect, but what about the paperwork side of things, has anyone done it on here, your advise would be appreciated.

It is a pain in the arse.......buy an academy car and work from there.

I did mine a few years back and changed the wiring loom and dash, I had a certificate of newness from Caterham that avoided a "Q" plate, back then it was just a SVA test.

Cwin , depends if you already have the car.

If not buy a car already registered as James has suggested it will save alot of mither.

I have just IVA'd a busa engined racecar , and its really just a matter of ticking the bosses to ensure you cover up what they want, I went to Nottingham VOSA station and they couldn't have been more helpful.
