2013 - the four seasons.
Discussion
It's the Winter Solstice tomorrow (thank goodness... I'm sick of 18 hours dark up here), so I've finished my 'Four Seasons of 2013' project. If you have nout' better to do, it's here >>> http://SteveCarter.com/random/2013.htm
I made it into a 'blurb' book and gave it away to people I like - none of you lot, obviously

Surely that would be 'night job' at this time of year? Something to do when there is not enough light to make it worth being out with a camera?

You are right though, unless we get a high pressure sat over us, mid Dec to mid Jan are a photographic write off this far north. Even when the sun is supposedly 'up' it's stuck behind a hill until about 11 a.m. and gone by 2 p.m. However, just occasionally, when we do get a high pressure at this time of year the stillness is stunning... this, exactly a year ago:

Thanks for the kind words chaps.
