We recently purchased this car in the Aberdeen area, does anyone know it? We're curious to know what if any modifications it has, it has an aftermarket exhaust and drives incredibly quickly, I'm amazed at the performance for what it is. Absolutely loads of fun and big smiles.

If you know anything about this car please let me know?

I can see from the pic that it had standard wheels and it's blue.

wHY NOT TRY ASKING THE PREVIOUS KEEPER.
But once you know and if there are Mods, you'll have to inform your insurer to be on the safe side.

Thanks I have just found the name of the previous keeper so will try that today. So far as the insurance company is concerned we have modified cars in the past and are aware of the need to inform them, however, your kind information is appreciated.

Why not have a good look around it? Any intake mods will be obvious enough. If I remember, they only weigh a smidge over 1000 kilo so ~172 bhp per ton will seem fairly punchy, depends what car back ground you've come from.

Clios always seem faster than you would think, as above, may be the light weight.

It doesn't seem to have any air intake mods, maybe it is just the light weight vs 172BHP, it's a very exciting drive though.

Car background is my Porsche 911 3.2, Son's VX Corsa 330BHP 2.0ltr Turbo. I guess after those the 172 Clio has done well to impress me this much, so much fun for the moneysmile
