Are you going to load test them?
Stainless has a much reduced yield strength than that of Mild or High Tensile steel.

I am not saying that steel or indeed alloy wheelnuts cannot be made but the correct grade of material must be used to give at least the same yield strength for the given threads as the original fixture.

providing they are torqued to the correct specification these nuts will stand the test of time. have been using this quality of stainless steel for over 25 years now, and as long as you keep to the correct tightening torque (i.e. 90Nm) you'll be just fine mr N. haven't lost a nut yet after over 30 years of being in the trade.
but if you insist on a test report however to go with the nuts, fine. you just pay me 75 quid more when you order a set, that's all.
merry x-mas to you too.

I would like a set of them without the engraving. They would look great with just the polished top.

as promised i would get back with the properties of the stainless steel these nuts are made of. the material is S303. for more info please read the article on: http://www.azom.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=2866
when you search further you'll find that these nuts will stand the tightening torque of 90 Nm.
if treated properly these wheelnuts will last for ages.

regarding the last request: no nuts without logo are produced now. if i get orders (and payments) for 5 sets or more i'll have them made.
regards to all, geert
