I dont remember seeing these before but now there seems to he 'Ads be Taboola' cluttering up the bottom of each forum page now.

They are not stopped by my current taboola rule:

||taboolasyndication.com^$third-party

Has anyone found one that blocks these new as well?

Cheers for that! They were doing my head in. Sorry PH but they were hideous.

Sorry, but could someone explain in a bit more detail how you've got rid of them - I hate them as well!

In the AdBlock options... It depends on what OS/browser you use it on, so can't be too specific, but once you've found the option dialog, it will become clear wink

Congratulations PH - I haven't been bothered about the advertising on the site up to now, but that st at the bottom of the page prompted me to install an ad-blocker for the first time!

P.S. Thanks to the posters showing the code to block taboola!

1) Install adBlock Edge addon (Chrome/Firefox)
2) Add filter as per above

It seems the Mobile Beta skin doesn't get those ads, which would be why I wasn't seeing them until I changed to the Big Blue skin.

Any reason you cannot use Firefox? Highly recommend it.

IE is more limited with addons.

TBH I thought the idea was quite good and I'd rather have links to the rest of the site than st from google. But I think it was rushed and the banners were far to visually over powering.

But now they've completely gone I do agree that PH has somewhat shot its self in the foot.
