It's used in this film

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fWU-RLcuWE

and starts at 49.27

Puts me in mind very much of Ravel's Bolero

I suppose it could just be a variation of it?

In the soundtrack listing the only piece of classical music shown is Rossini's Thieving Magpie, and I don't thinks that's it.

I am 95+% sure that it is the Bolero - just a later-on bit of it. I haven't quite the concentration span but I think it might be this version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOkuea1wExA

Yeah, it's a variation of Bolero as it's certainly not anything from The Thieving Magpie.

MY GOD.... what a abomination of that piece of music! At least link to one with actual musicians playing it ;-)

OP... its not Bolero (my guess is that its a pastiche)
