My turn to play this game, have decided to budget a maximum of £350 although ideally would prefer to pay less and maybe significantly less. An essential is that the soundbar has to have Bluetooth . Started by looking at the Orbitsound M10 in Richer Sounds at £349, now seen the Currys version of it at £199 and wondering if the Richer Sounds one is worth the extra money. One issue I do have is that the TV is in a corner recess and is 896 mm wide so I am concerned some of the wider bars will lose their affect.

So seem to be restricted to the following or have I missed one?

Orbisound M9 is a good buy, but size will be your deciding factor. M10 is good but more expensive...
The Denon DHT is worth a look as it sits under the screen and sounds pretty good too....with Bluetooth.

I just bought an ex demo Onkyo LS-B50 (RRP £450) for £355! You might be lucky and find one. It's blooming brilliant! I only got the demonstrator as they'd just run out of stock earlier in the day and I really wanted one.

I am looking at the Denon for my study. It sounds great for the size and for an awkward space is just perfect.

I am going to wait until mid january before making a decision. Am getting a 24 inch Panasonic LCD, a new Blu Ray player and will then purchase the Denon.

I ended up going for the Orbitsound £199.99 one from Currys. Richer Sounds wasn't open when I went shopping on Christmas Eve, and the Denon was out of stock at Sevenoaks Sound and Vision.

Liking that, - do you connect via optical to the tv or to the satellite/cable box?

Will hopefully allow me to replace the the onkyo hdx22 5.1 I have and not lose out too much as it only connected in 3.1 mode at present

Straight from TV. Not tried it from Virgin TiVo box yet. Liking the sound just getting used to what the tv shod sound like from proper speakers. Good sound from a 'box' without the hassle of speaker wires.
