Rear View Mirror Cameras

[Speculatore]

Rather than buying a 'Go-Pro' camera and fixing it to the car has anyone bought or have experience of the 'Rear View Mirror - Integral Cameras' that either attach to the rear of your current mirror or just replaces it?

I appreciate that it wouldn't be as good as a 'Go-Pro' but it would be good to record 'Spirited Driving' events (Rockingham Etc).

Looks interesting Dave

I say you should buy it and report back to the rest of us

I was considering one of these to combat the insurance scam of drivers reversing into you and claiming you hit them from behind, and deliberate accident arrangement to scam your insurers. Becoming quite common now.
I was concerned that it might look really naff and you may have wiring hanging everywhere to power the thing.
Please buy one and report back with some pics.

Lukas LK-7900ACE is superb, both day and night. It records 1080p 30fps and has a polarising filter. That's essential in an Aston as the slope of the dash causes a lot of reflections. I've tried a few cams and like this one the best.
Its Korean, but don't let that put you off.
They also do a version with a separate GPS receiver (LK7300G-SMART) and recording box which makes the camera smaller. I have both. The LK7900 is easy to fit, the LK7300 is a lot of fuss but is a nice system to incorporate properly if you can be arsed.

I've bought a few times from this seller. Never had any problems.
