Who is everyone with? Been with Petplan for years but the latest quote is more expensive than ever...

Much as I love our cat it's now more expensive to ensure than my car!

Dog Insurance .....more expensive, bigger excess, more exceptions and inclusions and less cover than the car insurance.

I can recommend Agria. I have just claimed £4,300 in vet bills and they have paid me just 4 days after receiving the very basic claim form.

There wasn't a single query raised regarding what was a substantial bill and my use of specialists.

If changing insurers do remember that pre existing conditions will not be covered so it might not be worth switching just to save a tenner a month.

Stick with Petplan.
Our trainer and dog food supplier recon they are the best by a very long way.
Tesco come bottom of the league.

FWIW I have no connection with Petplan other than having a dog insured with them who has had many (and I mean Thousands of pounds worth) claims and they have never failed to pay up.

Stick with Petplan IMVHO

I am with Pet Plan, 2 cats 2.5 yrs old each. £17.21 / mth up to 3K cover. I am on the Essentials policy.

We have just had to make a claim and it was pain free. I will probably be upping to the classic policy as £3k was almost not enough.

healthy-pets.co.uk.

£9.18 a month for 2 x girl cats, one's a year old, other's two.

Their best plan too, £7500 cover.

We used Petplan - though not claimed a lot - with our late springer. No problem ever but got expensive once he was past 10 years old even though his claim history was very low. Think it was costing us about 53 pm in his final year. Didn't resent it though, it was worth the peace of mind should he have needed anything. Would use them again if/when we get another dog.
