If you have an errant SRS light, you can reset using an Autel EU702 scan tool by plugging in to the body connector and using the Volvo - XC90 - SRS path on the tool. These tools are available on eBay and come from China, and are around $110 plus shipping. Of course this tool also plugs into the OBD port and reads/resets those codes.

DB9VD - this is indeed good news, I don't think everyone knows the significance of what you have found ......

I have located this link for us people in England ....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autel-EU702-Airbag-ABS-E...

Can you give any further details of the instructions you need to turn the light off? I thought that you had to put in the Chassis number of the car, but then is this tool related to ONLY turning off the SRS AirBag light .....? If it is, don't worry, its still very very very good if it does.... smile

That's the right tool. Just plug in an reset the light, as I indicated in my OP. As the link you provided states, this is an all purpose tool, including ABS, SRS, and OBD diagnostics code reader and reset tool. The 2nd tool you linked too apparently is only used for ABS and SRS, so not as all purpose and much more expensive. Buy the first one, it'll do whatever you need to do. And if it can't, then a trip to the dealer is probably in order any way.
