is "Chameleon Blue" a recognised TVR colour?

Hi all,

Saw an advert for a "Chameleon Blue" TVR. Is this the proper name for the colour? or are there different types of blue chameleon paints?

If anyone knows the paint number that would be fab.

I think the paint code is TVR075. I have had a chameleon blue Tuscan. What an excellant colour.

I can concur with RBlackwell. Chameleon Blue is one of a family of flip/reflex colours mixed specifically for TVR, by some French chappies I believe, and is the colour used on the 'Swordfish' car.

I personally believe half the colour names for cars are made up by their owners.

My Tuscan is Depleted-Uranium-Warhead-Grey.

I wonder if Dulux have 'Depleted Uranium' in their range.
I often wonder what a hellish task it must be to work in the marketing department of a paint manufacturer. Imagine having to come up with a complete range of names for this season's colours.
Varicose Vein Blue
Three day old bruise
Over cooked asparagus
Bloated Pustule
Plaque white
That burnt bit around the edge of the rice pudding dish

Oooh, I could have such fun.
