good trails/jumps etc near north east

As title, does anyone know of any good trials/jumps anywhere good to take a 24" jump bike.. considering buying one as a change to my roadie/something to play on, but unless there is anywhere nearby it seems a bit pointless!

I would assume there are loads but most probably are "cheeky trails" aka not quite legal in terms of access and rights of way... try the forum on pinkbike or singletrackworld if you get no luck here
