Coolant tap points for liquid cooled turbo core?
Discussion
A lot will depend on your overall layout, how many tapping points etc you actually have and what diameter hose you intend to use.
Easiest is generally any bleed off to the header tank.
But basically, anywhere between pump and thermostat will be fine for the flow, then just dump the return back before the pump or in the header.

I've managed to find some 10mm barb-tailed banjos in the UK but not exactly a plentiful choice! Anyone got any experience of these Revotec self-sealing fittings?
-6 is close to 10mm hose.
Banjo's should be fairly easy to source ? eg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M14-14mm-BANJO-8mm-5-16-...
not sure of hose size ?

As for the other bits, for what purpose exactly ?

Strangely enough, for making easy self-sealing taps into suitable coolant hoses to give me a feed and return for the turbo circuit...
I would not be using something like that to tap into a soft hose. There's bound to be some sort of tee or overflow etc you can use ?
Or worst case, tee into a heater line or something. Again, you can buy tee's and all sorts fairly easily.
On most TVR RV8 engine installs there is a small water outlet at the front right (Looking from the front) of the inlet manifold. On early cars this went to heat the throttle body and returned to a heater hose. On later cars this spigot is not used and is blanked off with a short piece of hose.
This would be ideal for your task.

Thanks Steve - have considered this. However, the idea is to achieve a circuit that will thermo-siphon as well as pump circulate, by taking a feed from low on the return leg (there is a heater tee that lends itself to this) and then return uphill all the way to the top hose (ish). The turbo core is canted at about 20 degrees or so to promote flow. Although I really like the idea of using that redundant spur, it means there will be a downhill leg and turn that will work against the physics. Now the rain has finally blown over, can have a proper look at the thing...

Ok, had a good look - the basic configuration of the radiator side of the cooling system is pump > stat> swirl pot top > swirl pot bottom > rad top > through rad > rad bottom > return to pump.
On the engine side of the stat is a tee off to the heater and the heater returns into a tee between the bottom hose and the pump intake (ie water can circulate to the heater regardless of whether stat open). The header tank spurs from the swirl pot top.
As I want the turbo loop to thermo siphon as well as pump, I'm thinking maybe take the feed from the heater return tee (ie between rad bottom and pump return) > turbo core > uphill to tee in between header bottom and rad top (ie tee into top hose). Any views as to whether this will actually end up pumping hot water down through the turbo in preference to and and bypass the radiator with the engine running? I'm thinking the physics and flow directions should pull the flow the right way when running too...
