Questions for TVR
Discussion
OK,I know that this might be old hat, but now that Ben is back and at the helm of TVR, I need questions to ask him and his new team. The questions and points will be put in questionare format and it is our intention to get them all answered.
Points on how you feel about TVR at present, what you think should be added or taken away. What issues do you have with TVR etc. What you think would make TVR more appealing. The reason for this thread, to finally answer some of the questions and cut out the usual negativity which seems to be going. I will make a list and put it forward to TVR on Monday. When the answers arrive I will post them for everyone to comment.

Take 'Orgasmic Living' away. Now.
And don't even think of using such a silly tag line again. I was surprised to read that many of the employees at Bristol Ave have never even been in a TVR. Is this likely to be put to rights?
Are there any plans to offer a bought-in V8 (or in-house) option on future cars?
How different are the models likely to be to be able to meet the 500 per model before replacement criterion?

Yeah he's back,
at least in the short term, David Saxton has moved on.
I think this is great news as i think it needs someone who really knows the TVR culture to steer.

What is the real deal with the "auction" of the containers of parts for non-current models ? Specifically the S series stuff, but it'll be the Griff stuff next no doubt.
It is alleged there is no longer stock of replacement windscreens available for the S, because they are in the container/s

Pardon my ignorance Dookie, but why would TVR be more candid with you rather than the press or anybody else?
Surely they'll just take the standard line with you.
Do you have some some kind of special relationship with them?
Or vayz of making them talk!
(Just to be clear. I'm not having a go - I'm just curious)

Surely the only person to ask is the owner of the train set (NS) Did not Ben gain the title of "Baldrick" to the original owner of TVR (PW)?, and that he is only filling in until a new MD can be found ?

1. Over what period do TVR honour to supply factory parts for any model that they cease production on.
May be interesting in view of problems S owners are now having, which I presume may affect owners of later models as time passes.
2. Will TVR sell copies of donor parts lists for models for which they no longer hold parts for.
