996tt which engine oil?

Have traditionally run my turbo on Mobil 1 in 0 w 40 grade. However I find my car is doing a lot less miles nowadays and these are often short journeys. Is this still the right choice? Cheers

Yes. Why would you think otherwise? What could need changing is the frequency which you change the oil/filter. Short trips tend to load the oil with unburned fuel and water from combustion. If you can't change your usage to drive the car more and get the engine hot and let it remain hot for a time to boil these contaminates away then the only other way to remove them is to drain away the oil that contains them and replace this contaminated oil with fresh oil.
