Nothing you ever bought a McDonalds looked like it did in the advert, or on the menu board. Burger King are significantly better at delivering products that look like they do in the adverts.

This is due to McDonalds staff. I went yesterday and asked for a big mac with no onions. I got a big mac with nothing but onions on it.

It's funny, because the staff training package is apparently quite exstensive and is called 'Hamburger University'. My boss worked at McDonalds as a teenager and proudly(!) tells of how he graduated from said University. So, how does the food always end up being so st? I assume the same calibre of candidates apply to Burger King, yet the food is always so much better looking - and I'm not just talking about the quality of the ingredients.

MacDonalds are just about to totally revamp their UK stores and do away with the 'heated pre-made burger rack' behind the till. All burgers will soon be made fresh to customer order. To be called "Fresh For You" or something similar, they are revamping their kitchen equipment for faster cooking and preparation/assembly.

But will they update their ingredients? I doubt it. The food will still have the same sugary, sweet taste and won't be as good as Burger King. fk, I want a Burger King now.

When I was young, a mate and I ordered 20 cheeseburgers. Only took them about 2 mins* which I thought was quite impressive.

I experienced one of these new stores yesterday. Freshly slopped together festive Christmas chicken thing. Burger was great - all the hot bits really hot, and all the cold bits still cold. But the fries were dire!

By powdered, do you mean all instant or just the really finely ground stuff?
People tend to drink instant coffee white, so it's made to be complemented by milk.

My old towns local McDs has shut down due to the revamp I think. Franchise owner wouldn't pay to update the kitchen.

I do like a bacon double cheese but I modify it to bacon double rodeo spec with onion rings and bbq sauce

Although the steakhouse bacon double angus or whatever it is called is awesome. Comes with onion, tomato, bbq sauce, mayo, etc and is also wrapped in such a way that you can pick it up our of the box and tuck in without getting the sauce and stuff on your hands. Plus it is massive.

I don't eat them very often but when I do, I really enjoy it. I feel filthy afterwards but I can handle that.
