Picked up my first "proper" (?) car 3 years ago. I have looked at buying something else and quite often find myself looking through the classifieds on here but for one reason or another not moved away from the Integra just yet.

I don't really have another car to compare it to in terms of handling or power. I have often heard of people moving on from integra's and regretting it or eventually ending up with one again.

I have changed a couple of bits on it. But always wanted to keep it looking relatively standard as I did (shamefully) do the whole body kit thing when I was younger.

While the last owner had it the car was used in Evo magazine for a buyers guide.

So far I've been to brands a couple of times with it. I'm looking to do a couple if new track days next year, maybe Combe and Silverstone.

It has had some work done recently on the bodywork, I've had some rusty bits sorted and also recently changed various suspension bushes.

Currently the car is at the garage having the head refurbished as it had been running lean. Once it's all back together it's going to get rolling roaded to have fuelling checked and adjusted.

Anyway I'm now going to put a load of pictures up because pics are so much better than loads of paragraphs!

One of the best cars Ive ever owned.

Sadly, I wore the largest pair of rose tints available when I bought it, and it would have become a money pit if I had kept it...

Still toy with getting another one, but I think time is against them really, the DC5 is slowly depreciating, and I suspect the GT85 will plummet in another couple of years....

I have had to spend a fair bit recently on bodywork and sorting out the damaged valves but i see it as a hobby. I'm sure there will come a time in the future when I call it a day but no plans just yet except to drive it! Why was yours a money pit?

Yes defiantly time is against them with regards to rust and suspension. I think the dc5 looks nice but it's not as raw as the dc2 are there many new cars that compare to the dc2 that are similar in terms of raw-ness?

I do like the gt86, would love to have a proper drive in one.

Brake calipers seem to be a weakness of Honda's of that era. I had to have one of mine done recently, but even then it didn't cost that much. A major service and caliper was still less than a Golf service.

So many DC2's are being broken as they are worth more in parts which is a real shame. People rave about them, always refer to them as being the greatest fwd car, yet they can be bought for peanuts. I don't think I'll ever understand the used car market.

OP - your car looks great.

I'd love one of these, but I can't justify/don't have room for a 3rd project/fun car.

Ha ha , yeah it seems by chance that most of the cars I have owned have been white, although the Integra White is usually refered to as championship beige! I am yet to own a turbocharged car so would like to scratch that itch some time in the future.

Nice honda but what's interesting me is your fiesta. Is it a Mk1 with a Mk 2 front end & Xr2 kit

Great looking example, when you did the surface rust on the rear arches did you check inside the arches by removing the interior trim panels....can be a horror story inside sadly.

I have owned various different Hondas and my DC2 was by far my favourite, the chassis is fantastic if kept well maintained.

Hoping to get another at some point, we'll see....

Your fiesta wasn't a 2.0 ZVH on twin 40s by chance?

Great pair of cars to have.
