Looking for a car to Hire for my wedding day. I fancy something either very very special i.e Lambo or something very big i.e Lincoln Navigator. Any ideas where I might find one to hire for about two days????

There is a classic/specialist car hire company in Otley, I think they're called Kitchins. I know they have an E-type and a Moggy Minor and I think most recently a Boxster S, but nothing really exotic.

One of my friends had a 'Rarri for the weekend of his 30th birthday, AFAIK it cost ~£850 for 48 hours. If it floats your boat I'll find out where it came from, he's based in Wakefield so I assume it was a local(ish) company.

There are a number of local companies that offer chauffer driven cars, anthing from X5's, Porsche Cayenne to E class Mercs with driver, perhaps that would be something to consider if the exotica is too hard to find. Have a look on Yell.com, there are pages and pages of companies offering luxury car hire.

Thanks very much. I been warned off Rarries as the wife to be is getting a huge spread dress which would probably fill the cockpit of a rarri all on it's own. So I was looking for somthing bigger i.e Porsche Cayanne.

Thanks for your help.

TBH pretty much any passenger seat is going to be a challenge in a wedding frock.

I spoke to a company yesterday that have all kinds of exotica at their disposal, but it's all chauffer driven. 18 seat stretch Hummer; £500 for 3 hours!

Mark,

If you wanted a lift to the church and a prop for some nice photos I have a (very loud!) Fezza, again a chauffeured service though -

Polertech,

Thanks very much for the offer but I am looking for self drive cars really. Not to sound ungreatful it's just the best man (my Bro) the usher (My other bro) and my old man all have to go in the same car. So I think it would be a tight fit.

My dad used to hire Yank cars as props for TV etc from Beauer & Millets in Manchester, and they sell Navigators. They could be worth a try.

Failing that you could request an extended test drive for 2 or 3 days in an Audi A8. they lent me one even though I already have one. the A8 number is on the website.

I saw this website on Turbobloke's profile; probably too far away but thought it would be worth a look.

Thanks Chim Girl. I think it is a little too far and by the looks of things the car are not self drive. Thanks very much though.
