What happened to all the good trackday kit cars for sale?

A few years ago in the classifieds there would be around 20-30 bike powered kit cars up for sale generally 7-a-likes with fireblade/R1/Hayabusa engines in them. Additionally there used to be plenty of Fisher Fury or similar cars up for sale. I can't find a single Westfield XTR-2 up for sale.

There still seems to be plenty of replica type kit cars out there but the selection for track purposes is very slim.

What has happened; all I can assume is that the economic situation killed the market for new cheap bike powered cars and those with means traded up to Radicals or similar. But that doesn't explain what happened to all the ones already out there.

It's the middle of winter, not a good time to sell an open top (probably no windscreen) car. Peaks for sales tend to be easter (when there are plenty of buyers for the next season) and sept/oct when people are getting rid/starting new projects after the summer.

....... and in rough economic times people hang on to what they already have rather than buying new.

my impression is that there are less kitcar adverts since pistonheads changed the webpage layout / design of the classifieds.

if economy is bad people may not buy cars, but there shold be a huge amount of cars advertized for sale, imo.
