Discussion
Well that's just brill Terry. I put new shocks fuel pump bloody all sorts but always had this mad idea the Chim would be better, nah that's a really good car and I miss it. I have an A4 pic on my living room wall of the old girl so let her go at your heart ache mate!
Yep I'll pm you at some point and give you all I know about the little red monster. I drove her real nice mate I'm car sympathetic as they say and I considered her a classic so showed great respect but that 2.8i really spins up nicely. Genuine car. I had an erratic stop start problem and I'm pissed right now so can't remember what sorted it but other than an oil leak she was a roaring little cracker.
Funny thing is I actually thought the S2 sounded better around town than my Chimeara does!!!! Brilliant body shape angles and curves everywhere and the wheels oh those funkie wheels. Take care mate I'll drop you a line.
Hi Jim how's the Chimi SC. I'll catch up with you soon as mate, fecking impressed with your motor that day at Snett! Love it, have some and more. I'd love to think its crank is still in the right place. He he he.
Yeah you'll have to tell me more about your car sometime, it went up that front straight like a D type.
Its late and I'm in Tvr wonderland but I'm getting all nostalgic for the S2
What do you experienced S2 owners think of changing the rear tail lights to get away from the kit car look, the rear of that car deserves better, am I the only one who felt let down by the originals, I'd stand behind the car and look at those bad bad tail pipes and the funkie way the body fell away there, I'd always have this vision of Ferrari style round rear lights,
Or was those words the work if the devil and I should never utter them again, just a thought but then I think of such an idea with the Chimi and I'm horrified,
I would not want to upset anyone here but it did bug me abit when I had the car, lol . Alun

, a far more important car for Tvr than people give it credit for.
...love the rant Alan...always good to post after a few drinks...been there... And safety than going on eBay after a few drinks...;)...but you should also quote this on the general Tvr forum.....Long live the S!
Get in there Anthony, important note a red S2 is simply the right colour for the car, lol I'd have a V8 version but didn't like the bonnet line, I used to love the S2 air scoop on top the bonnet, fecking cool .
The Chim is def a big step up in power but tuned and driven well a good S2 is fantastic and would be allover a Chim in the bends I reckon. I love them all these Tvrs and they all have there merits I'm just glad to know this special one is in good hands.
