Need some help, fast...
A friend with a 99 Chim' can't get into his boot, the solenoid has packed in
How do you access the boot?
He is away for the weekend and low on fuel (and at his wits end)
Could someone PM me the way in?

He's decided to make a run for it...
If you see a Yellow Chim by the side of the road between hampshire and herts it's run out of fuel frown

Sometimes the solenoids just get a bit tired as opposed to packing up entirely... pushing down on the boot-lid to unload the catch might get it to release smile

Just out of interest, could someone please e-mail me the way to access the boot. I go away for a weeks holiday every year in it and must pop the boot half a dozen times every day. I am just waiting for the day the boot doesn't open and all my bags and belongings are trapped in there! Pretty please.

I'd like to know as well, in case I ever need it.

I think I know, but I'm not sure if what I "know" is correct. If any of the known regulars wants to message me I'll tell you what I think I know and you can tell me if I'm right! smile

FYI - This was dealt with yesterday. I (with help from a few friends) sent the appropriate info over to T which solved the issue.

Thanks for the help biggrin
