Sky box not allowing me to view while downloading

Quick question

Right now at parents and downloading a movie from sky store, it is 7% complete but it won't give me the option to start watching it.

At home my sky allows you to do this at 3% or less

On,y difference is my setup at home is hard wired into modem whereas parents home has modem upstairs and is wirelessly connected to sky box (so download speeds are much slower)

Is this a setting or is it because of slow download speeds here?

I think it works out how much buffer it needs based on the connection speed.

Would explain it, 30 mins later and it's at 16%

We have 120mb broadbean, so the Sky store works almost on demand.
You can set the film, grab a drink / snack, and it's usually ready to watch
