Evening Gents,

No matter how many times I try clipping them back in place/velcro them down, they always manage to crease under my feet, making it very difficult to get a feel for the pedal. I've thrown them out for the time being - however worried my carpets will be destroyed. Where's the best place to buy mats - and has anyone any ideas on prevent them sliding about?

Cheers

The mat in my Caddy turns sideways in about 30 seconds whatever I do.

Buy decent weight / thickness with the screw in fasteners. Never had any problems doing it this way smile

Try these chaps, I have bought many sets from them over the years. Perfect fit, quality floor fixings and custom embroidery if you fancy it too

What car is it?

I always buy OE mats with the proper fixings to avoid this sort of thing.

This outfit are good for tailored mats, but don't supply the fixing clips :

It's an Impreza. After a second look I think where the mats have worn they have thinned out, and the thin part of the mat is now easily creased. Thanks for the recommended companies, they're next on my list! rotate

Buy proper OE mats with the correct fittings. They are the only mats that will fit properly.
