45bhp Polo 1.05. While it was the least powerful, it was by no means the most underpowered car I've ever driven... In fact, I'm not sure I'd describe it as underpowered at all...

I'd say the same about my Fiat Uno 45 (999cc & 45PS) plenty of fun to be had, whereas my Vauxhall Nova (1.2l & 55bhp) certainly did feel underpowered.

So one of the powerful 2cvs, then...

I've never had a 425, but I did have an old-style 602. 21bhp, officially.

But do motorbikes count?
0.75bhp of VeloSolex. Two of 'em.

Ford Fiesta 1.3, 50bhp, and a 0-60 time of a staggering 16 seconds.

106 1.5d - 57hp

But not the slowest car I've driven.

That goes to the fully laden including roofrack with ladders and boot with all types of cctv equipment, 90bhp 406 hdi estate. Genuinely miserable to drive!

60 bhp in a 1.1 106 and again 60 bhp in a Ibiza 1.4, not the fastest things around.

My first car was a metro 1.0. I don't actually know how many bhp it had, but would guess 40ish.

A 1993 L reg fiesta 1.1 with 50bhp, I think most of the horses had escaped as it struggled to get up hills.

Ditto. Polo Fox in my case. The skill was maintaining momentum!

1982 Fiat Strada 65CL.

65bhp from a single cam, single choke carb which was pretty lively to be honest.

Another 2CV here, a real hoot to drive, really sharpened up anticipation and reading the road if you wanted to make progress.

A Hillman Imp, most of whose horses had left the building. It didn't do hills.

Fiat Uno 45 FIRE for me, 45bhp.

Spent far too much money making it look like the Turbo version!
