Porsche Driving Experience 2 versions?

Are there two versions of the basic PDC? Are they different?
1. You pay £275 and chose which car you want to drive, Boxster, Cayman, 911 and lasts for 90 minutes
2. The experience you get for free when you buy a new Porsche. Is this for longer period of driving, is it a different format. I think you get lunch on this one.

I forgot to ask them this when I rang but said I could take a partner/friend who could also drive. My experience relates to my recently purchased new Boxster

As far as I'm aware the experience you receive when you purchase a car is solely in the model/spec you purchased and lasts an hour or so. Not sure about lunch. But can confirm on Monday if you require.

My experience session that came with my car had about 3.5hrs driving and lunch. Looking on the web it seems to be the "half day" course.

Driving experience for a new 911 was a half-day - I assume the same applies to a Boxster?

You get a free half day session when you buy a car, this includes lunch. You can choose to do it in a different car to the one you bought. Same experience wether you bought a Cayman or a GT3.

I've been there three times in the dry. I'd love to do it in heavy rain, especially the handling track. Enjoy!

Exactly my question which I have some insight into but not the full answer.

The Driving Experience is as you described for 90 minutes and despending on the car you want cost from £275.

The Experience you get when you order a new porsche (called Depositor's Drive?). It is a half day event but what exactly is included I don't know. The cost is £550 (if you had to pay. See below quote). It seems that this is not actually listed on the website. The only other half day event listed is the "Warm Up" of the Driving School. This is £395 but not including a car.

"We welcome you to bring along a guest on the day to spectate from the various viewing areas and join you for lunch in the Porsche Restaurant. The first guest is welcome free of charge, additional guests are charged at £30 per person. Should you wish for a guest to participate in an equivalent experience as yourself, this place can be reserved at the point of booking along with a payment of £550 per person."
