many years back loved the xjs, been offered a sept 92 facelift 5.3 in white, not sure as heard these could be a money pit. \\\\\\\\\\\\\little bit of bubbling lower wheel arch, thought these were ali bodied so bit confused?. She has done under 90k and some history, Been assured all is well and every thing working etc. With a new mot and a nice reg would 3500 pounds be a ball park price. low owners too . any advise or info would be very welcomed.. happy new year to all

I would walk away at that price - would want full history and better bodywork before considering. A bit of bubbling could be the tip of the iceberg.

No XJSs were ali. If it looks good on the surface I'd get an inspection at a Jag indy to see what needs doing, then negotiate from there.
