How to check tyre hardness

[carsandyp65]

All,

I have 6 Toyo 888 that are approx 3 years old, but would like to know how if they are still "fresh" enough to use to race. I have a durometer but do not know what a base line for good fresh tyres are.

Please help

Try this?

I'd respectfully suggest that you need to google 'durometer', 'shore hardness scale', the different shore hardness scales (and similar phrases) .

And welcome to the forum .
