f1 car at nurburgring how fast?

after watching rush yet again last night it got me thinking if lauda did it in under 7 mins back then how quick do you think a modern f1 car would do it? Under 6mins?

It wouldn't be ablt to do a lap properly. Ride height is too low being one reason.

Shuey and Heidfeld have both driven it in f1 cars but the laps seem tame so I assume they could raise the ride height to suit?

Should imagine well under the 6m mark. I'm sure some of the endurance cars weren't far off that, so I'd guess 5m30s would be achievable for a correctly set up F1 car driven in anger.

Im sure a modern F1 car could be set up in a way to 'manage' a lap of the nordschleife though it wouldnt really be at its best around there.
