Thread titles in mobile view

Apologies if this has been done to death - but why does no thread title show up when I've opened a thread in mobile view? (iPhone 4s, iOS 7).
It gets terribly confusing when I open a number of threads for later viewing and there is no indication on the page as to what on earth they're about.
