Never seen one of these before

I like it when something pops up that you never knew existed.

This morning I woke up thinking about Ford Granada's. I don't have a clue why? My dad owned millions of them as I grew up through my childhood.
On this mornings quest I came across this rarity.

2 door mk1 and mk2 Granada's were sold on the continent, but not in the UK for some reason. Although I do believe that there were a few RHD mk1 2 door saloons in the UK.

I had no knowledge of the existence of this car, until we started watching Breaking Bad over the weekend.



Didn't know what it was, but idly browsing an encylopedia of US Cars in a book shop yesterday and it was pictured in there! Behold - the Pontiac Aztek. Someone in the design department thought that looked good...

We did get the Mk1 coupe though.

Wasn't there a Mk1 2dr Coupe available? Sure I've seen one somewhere.
