On Steve Heath's site he stated that his remaining ARB drop links were going to be transferred to another company where they would maintain supply. He then said that details of the company would be posted on his site when the details were established. But nothing was posted.

Does anyone know who supplies these or whether they are no longer available? If so where do I get drop links from as none of the main TVR suppliers seem to do stuff for anything other than the later cars?

Cheers

Leven (PPC) still do Griffith and Chimaera drop-links but I'm not sure if that's any help to you?

I'm not aware of any announcement from Steve Heath with regards to transferring the engineering part of his business.

Unforunately the connections on each end are different.

I'm toying with making something up myself with rose joints etc. It's just the hassle of doing the research when I have a million and one other things on the 'To do' list!!

If you read Steve Heath's website which he all but shut down in May 2012 it says about it there. But you never know what went on behind the scenes and whether he either had time or could get agreement with said company.

The Leven ones are specifically made to fit all Griffith's and Chimaera's (plus we supply drop links for later cars too). Please give us a call to discuss as we are not sure why you think the fittings are different. We are happy to help 01664 481065
Thanks Paul, I will do so.

This is an earlier car though and I didn't see anything on your site which looked like it had the correct end connections. But I'll give you a call and see where we go from there..

I can't tell if that looks like mine or not.

If you look at page 149 of the Steve Heath Wedge bible it shows the drop link. The top end of it has the ARB passing through it and the bottom end is a male thread which passes through a tie rod (I think). Mine is like that.

The Griff and Chimaera ones have a bush on at least one end (depending on age) which sits between to upstanding brackets and has a bolt passing through the brackets and bush to connect the lot together.

What is the botton end of yours like and which model of Wedge?

Hi Adam

When you say you are just making up the bracket do you mean welding a couple of upright brackets onto the tie rod to allow the bottom rose joint to bolt on?

Aaaah!

No it all becomes clear! Thanks for that. I couldn't quite get my head around how people were getting parts to fit when they had the same set up as me. But now I can.

Thanks Adam.
