Zafira plus male on his own = lethal
Discussion
I have now had at least three incidents of a male/dad, who has clearly left the kids and wife at home, driving like a complete psychopath. Two full on road rage incidents (one of which I was on my pedal bike) , another very aggressive driving display. It's got to the stage where if I see a bloke in one, I steer well clear.
I assume dad needs to show he's still "got it" in his MPV but is there any need? I hired one (accidentally - it was meant to be a Passat) and it wasn't dreadful and quite versatile but not what I'd call a driving machine.
Makes your average rep in a hurry look like a driving saint.

Coincidence maybe? In all my years of driving I don't think I've ever been able to single out a particular type of car in relation to idiotic or aggressive driving.
MPV's tend to be driven extremely badly. There is a direct correlation between diesel engines and poor driving also, as those drivers desperate to show everyone their TDi badge crash around the motorways like idiots. This is true.
Also I've tended to had "incidents" with Qashqui and Juke drivers?...always driven with vigour for some reason?
Again I think trying too hard to be "trendy" and angry that there forced to drive such a car!
Zafira man stands out for me....classic signs are...
Sticky finger marks all over rear windows inside of rug rats,
Princess on board sticker,
Missing hub caps,
Steer clear at all costs!!

It's interesting the OP makes the Zafira distinction, I had a bit of a mild road rage incident on the M6 a week last Saturday by a single male driver in a Zafira.
It's got to be mere coincidence, as I don't subscribe to the idea that people's behaviour changes massively depending on what type of car they drive. To be fair, I've seen lots of that specific type of car not getting involved in road rage type behaviour, but then again, I've not had anyone try and chase me along the motorway before either.
I think an idiot is still an idiot, regardless of what he (or she for that matter) is driving.

I like to throw our Galaxy round, I dont road rage anyone but I enjoy making it go as fast as it can, it is strangely competent and pretty good fun considering, I am not angry if I have to use it, I like driving and can enjoy any vehicle, the Zafira isnt much fun having driven a couple, most MPV's arent, Ford manage to imbue anything with a bit of genius, I am not even a Ford fanboy.
My wife has a Zafira and sometimes I have to drive it without her or any kids in...
I don't think I've ever been involved in any road rage in it or driven particularly aggressively either. It's bland, white goods on wheels and very underpowered. They are driven by people who have no interest in driving and I would include my OH in that.
In my defence there are no little princess on board stickers or jammy fingerprints over the windows.

I drive a new Zafira, (which I think is great by the way).....Highly recommended for the trip down to Curry's to buy a new washing machine.......
However I drive with ultimate courtesy at all times, taking due regard for other road users..
My car does not have any silly stickers in the back window such as "Baby on board" etc......
So don't tar everybody with the same brush.........

S-Max and Galaxy's are pretty decent to drive. I do see and often hear of behavior like this from numerous people, its angry, frustrated dad syndrome, they are forced to drive an MPV (for one child often) because Eileen in the office told his Mrs that it was a good car, so we are having one.
Maybe he is, then when it goes bang he can tell the mrs that its an unreliable POS in a (probably) vein attempt to avoid getting another.

Sane with Picarsholes, angry dad trying to justify the car choice his wife made for him.
I see a metallic red one every morning on the A303 being driven like he's trying to blow the thing up. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

holes, angry dad trying to justify the car choice his wife made for him.
