Changing a cam sensor

Hi Guys,

Little bit of help if anyone could. Does anybody know or can find a tutorial on how to change a cam sensor on a 2001 ford mondeo LX tddi 1.9 diesel I have looked online but I am having a brain fart moment. Basically step dads car needs a new one and we have the part ect... I am so used to working on the saab I have no clue about fords hope someone can help.

It should be a 2ltr tddi, it's on the front by the injection rail if my memory serves me correct

Aslo excuse my late reply been on holiday in -40 in the USA... To my knowledge when I got home the thing blew up on the motorway whole engines went something shot through the engine bay and out the side of the car so it got scrapped and he bought himself a nice 2004 BMW M3... Retirement present even though he still works 60+ hours a week. But I say good on him.
